The LINGO Method

How We Teach English

LINGO helps children gradually build their vocabulary, understand spoken English, and use familiar words in games, scenes, and simple sentences.

Words are the foundation of learning

Children find it difficult to read, understand instructions, and form sentences if they do not know enough words. That is why LINGO places great emphasis on gradually expanding vocabulary.

Children encounter each new word several times: they see an image, listen to its pronunciation, and use the word in activities, games, and revision.

How learning works

👀 Introduction

Children are introduced to a topic and see new words, images, and simple examples.

🎮 Practice

Words are used in interactive scenes, exercises, and educational games.

🔁 Revision

Previously learned material returns in the vocabulary section and revision activities to reinforce knowledge.

Topics gradually become more complex

The course is built on the principle of gradually expanding familiar topics. For example, a child may study animals, the home, school, or food, then return to these topics at a new level and add more complex words and expressions.

Children do not start learning from scratch but build on what they already know.

The main principles of LINGO

No long lists to memorise

The same word appears in different formats and is gradually committed to memory.

Grammar using familiar words

New structures are explained gradually, without overwhelming children with too many rules.

Games are part of the lesson

Through play, children recall words, make decisions, and apply their knowledge.

Everyone learns at their own pace

Children can return to a lesson, revise difficult words, or play a game again.

Our goal

What matters to us is not how quickly a child completes the course, but how well they understand and remember the material. That is why learning with LINGO combines words, images, pronunciation, interactive activities, games, and regular revision.
