Rules of Use
Document
These rules help keep the LINGO platform safe, clear, and convenient for children, parents, and other users.
Main rules
Please read the rules before using the platform. They govern account creation, learning, payments, the use of materials, and interaction with the service.
1. General rules
By using LINGO, you agree to comply with these rules, the platform's terms, and applicable legislation. Users are required to provide accurate information and use the service in good faith.
2. Parent and child accounts
A parent or other legal representative is responsible for creating the family account, adding child profiles, ensuring the accuracy of the information entered, and supervising the child's use of the platform.
3. Use of educational materials
LINGO lessons, posters, images, audio recordings, games, interactive scenes, and other materials are intended for personal learning. They may not be copied, sold, published, or used for commercial purposes without the permission of the rights holder.
4. Acceptable behaviour
Using the platform for insults, threats, discrimination, the distribution of illegal materials, spam, fraud, interference with the website's operation, or causing harm to other users is prohibited.
5. Protection of account credentials
Users are required to keep passwords, verification codes, and other access credentials confidential. Do not share them with third parties, and immediately inform support if you suspect unauthorised access.
6. Payments and subscriptions
Paid features and subscriptions are purchased by a parent or an adult account holder. Before making a payment, you must review the selected plan, its validity period, renewal conditions, and refund rules.
7. Learning progress and rewards
Stars, coins, levels, daily streaks, and other virtual rewards are used only within LINGO. They are not money, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be modified as part of the platform's development.
8. Access restrictions
An account may be temporarily restricted or blocked in cases of rule violations, hacking attempts, fraud, misuse of payment features, distribution of prohibited content, or creating a threat to other users.
9. Reporting errors and violations
If you notice a technical error, incorrect material, a payment issue, or a violation of the rules, please report it through the contact form or by emailing the support team.
10. Platform responsibility
LINGO provides educational materials and technical tools for learning but does not guarantee the same results for every child. Success depends on regular study, age, individual characteristics, and parental involvement.
11. Technical availability
We strive to ensure the stable operation of the platform. However, temporary interruptions, updates, technical errors, or limitations related to the user's device, browser, or internet connection may occur.
12. Changes to the rules
We may update these rules as the platform develops, legislation changes, new features are introduced, or payment methods change. The current version is always published on this page.
